Adopt A School

God’s Word is not banned from public schools!

We will get your ministry into public schools and we will train your volunteers for free!

Your church can adopt a local public school to hold an after school Good News Club in. A Good News Club includes an exciting Bible lesson, songs, Scripture memory, missions time, review games, and other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. We will train volunteers from your church to lead this program at no cost! You need just 4 volunteers that are willing to be trained to help teach and lead this program to start a Good News Club in a local school.

Your church can partner with CEF of Broome County by adopting a local school! We need churches to sponsor Good News Clubs. Evangelize, disciple, and introduce children and their families to your church. This can be a tremendous outreach as members of your church volunteer as teachers, helpers, and prayer partners.

A partnership with a local church provides a way to mobilize church members for missionary outreach in the community. It provides ministry opportunities for all ages! It gives the church visibility in the community. It builds relationships with unchurched children and families. It establishes a safe haven for unchurched families- somewhere to turn when needs arise or when looking for a church to attend. It maintains a vision for lost souls before the congregation through verbal reports, prayer needs, praises, and bulletin inserts regarding club activities and testimonies. It trains and develops new children’s workers not only for service in clubs but for the children’s ministry program within the church. It increases the outreach of the church’s children’s ministry program. It provides contacts to invite Good News Club children and families to attend special church activities. It facilitates the spiritual maturity of team members as they are involved in ministry in neighborhoods and schools. It leads to church growth. And it allows your church to be a blessing to the children, the school, and to the nation!
