Verse Repetition: 5 Fingers!

There are many verse repetition activities you can use to help your kids learn the verse! This one is called 5 Fingers! Allow the kids to choose one of your fingers, explaining that each finger unlocks a different motion they will do while saying the verse. This repetition activity is especially good for kids that like moving around. The fingers unlock the following motions:

Pinky- The pinky is the tiniest finger so we’re going to say the verse in our tiny, squeaky, little voices… (say verse)
Ring Finger- The ring finger is the most wiggly finger so we’re going to wiggle while we say the verse.
Tall Finger- The tall finger is the tallest finger so we’re going to reach for the sky while we say the verse!
Pointer Finger- With the pointer finger, we disco!
Thumb- The thumb is the shortest and stoutest finger so we’re going to say the verse in a deep voice.
