Count the Coins

Count the Coins: Make cards with various amounts of coins on them ranging from 1 coin to 5 coins. Using a pocket chart with numbered slots, mix the cards and place them facing blank side out. Divide the children into two teams and ask questions. If the child answers the question correctly, they can call out a number that corresponds with one of the slots on the chart. The team is awarded the number of coins on their card. The team with the most coins at the end wins.
